Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt Ep8: Angles of the Dead
You may have noticed that my posts for this series have been late as of recent. It’s not because the series sucks and I’m only obligated to do it. Far from it. It’s because, sometimes, this show is too awesome for words, and screenshots are the only things that can justify it’s bizarre glory. That and subs appear on Saturday mornings when I tend to be really busy, so yeah.
So again, pics only post. You may notice that the first part is a complete ode to Dawn of the Dead.

Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt Ep7: Dildobot Transhome!
I love transformers. I love them to death. I cried when Optimus Prime died in the G1 movie (ohs nose spoilarz!) and it was never the same since, not necessarily bad mind you. When I heard that Panty and Stocking would be parodying the show, I knew it would either be completely awesome or completely horrible. Nothing in between.
Thank god it was the former. These shots are in no particular order because I’m too sleepy to do text posts right now lol.

Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt: Epistaxis and Emesis
If nose picking becomes a fad… consider me first in line? As someone who tends to have a hypersecreting nasal cavity I do sometimes find it hard to get a private place where I can… pick to my heart’s content when blowing my nose just doesn’t do it anymore. Whether the inside of the nares is considered an erogenous zone is another matter entirely.
Also, the animation head for the second segment is Kobayashi Osamu, so if you recognize the shift in art style it’s because he worked on Paradise Kiss, BECK and some Studio 4C works.

I totally understand the issues Briefs has with going naked, like him having to carry a massive package everyday and having to keep them away from the jealous eyes of less endowed beings who’d likely go blind if they see it.
Though of course, unlike Briefs, I have no real qualms in letting it loose should the situation warrant it…

Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt Ep3: The Battle for Bartholin
Usually when a friend of mine tries to make a sex joke, I roll my eyes. I roll them even farther back when he tries to really, really extend the joke beyond a sound mind. I’ve heard a lot of sex jokes in my life as a man, which is almost 26 years at this point, so really for the most part most sexy and risque comedy is old news to me. That was until this show came along.
So really, how long can a someone extend a sexy joke gone far, far beyond it’s intention? Waaaaay far?
That’s apparently what the second part was trying to do, and actually, it did it well.

It’s obscene. It’s profane. It’s rude. It’s disgusting. It’s indecent. Bizarre. Ridiculous. Immoral. Petulant. Loose. Objectionable. There are much more words you can use to define Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt based on the first 10 minutes alone.
It’s also one of the awesome, sexually charged shows I have ever seen. Indeed, in Gainax we trust!
