The World God Only Knows Season Finale: God Mode On!
This isn’t as much a finale as it is a transition from season 1 to season 2, so aside from some much appreciated characterization for Keima and the God-like gaming skills, there really isn’t much to say apart from the game nerd awesomeness of Keima and Elsee’s fruitless attempts to get him out of his sanctuary.

Yosuga no Sora Finale: Where We Are Least Alone
It is highly probable that in the past, incest wasn’t very much a frowned upon relationship. It does sort of depend on what degrees of blood relations qualifies as such, but in the past even the monarchies of Europe practiced intermarriages within cousins within the ruling class. Perhaps this might go even further than that before the acceptance of a concept known as morality. I still believe that in the dawn of humanity incest was likely prevalent when we as a species were but a few thousand strong, in order to keep the species alive.
Incest as a global taboo really became widespread when long distance communication, and thus the exchange of ideas, propagated. We now live in a world where it is generally not accepted. What then would become of this incestuous love between Haru and Sora as their tale comes to a close?

Kuragehime Ep9: I Dream Of Jellies
I guess everyone has their own “world” of sorts. The kind of place that you like to escape to when you’re feeling down or depressed so you could be alone with yourself, to find a bit of solace in a mad, mad world. It’s a defense mechanism for some, and a daily facet of life for others. Sometimes it really is easier to just get away from it all somewhere you can sort out your life, calm yourself and try to go at life once again. For Tsukimi it’s the ocean of jellies, her favorite animal and best friends.
But what happens when even one’s own paradise is compromised? Where does one escape to when even their own private places no longer feel private?

The World God Only Knows Flag 11: Let It All Out
If you never speak your mind, then how are you supposed to try and make people understand? Being all quiet and shy about things clearly doesn’t help, and when you have something you really think is worth fighting for, then you really need to let the world know just what it is you want to say.
Standing in the library, Shiori’s inability to speak has led her to do all sorts of crazy things. If only she had the courage to try and speak, then people would have understood.

Kuragehime Ep8: WTB Apartment Complex
Well if you need to, you’ll do what you have to to save your home. The apartment is practically ancient, and ancient things tend to be veritable storehouses of old and classic stuff. Not even the current residents know what’s inside, and if those will save the apartment, they’ll do what they have to.
Save maybe going out into public anyway.

Yosuga no Sora Ep11: There Is No Turning Back
And today the brother and sister have breached the point of no return. The deed is done and… being done at least twice a day from what I gather. Behold carnal pleasure and all that. I just assume they know what they’re doing or at least some of it, so maybe I can assume that for the most part the entire taboo issue of their relationship has sunk in and that they are willing to accept the outcomes of their choices.

The World God Only Knows Flag 10: The Voice Inside
When I have kids, I’ll make it a point that they learn how to read books before they learn to read anything else. Call it a personal bias, but few other modes of communication has shaped the world as much as the printed word has, and the ability to replicate and transport ideas beyond mere sound and into reading has shaped the world in ways few appreciate. Everything began when humanity first spoke and wrote things down.
I thus concur with at least 80% of what Shiori says. Heck I HATE it when people write on books. I don’t even highlight my textbooks.

Yosuga no Sora Ep10: When I Think About You I Touch Myself
I reiterate my previous assertion in Animesuki that they would never have censored Sora’s breasts if they weren’t related. It’s very plausible to say that they only did it because of the incest theme, otherwise if she was any other girl we’d have seen her in her full naked glory.
That or they’re saving the goods for the DVD release.
